Thursday, October 20, 2022 - MHA Chief Executive Officer Michael Pierce joined representatives from the City of Mobile, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), developers, and other local officials to break ground on Maryvale Place, a new 96-unit multi-family affordable housing apartment complex, on the site of the former Mae Eanes Middle School.

The Maryvale Place units should be ready for occupancy by 2024, and all will be used for affordable housing for the next 40 years. MHA will issue project-based vouchers for a portion of these units. |
