Board of Commissioners

The Mobile Housing Authority has a five-member Board of Commissioners, which is appointed by the Mayor of the City of Mobile. The Board is comprised of active business and community leaders who have a commitment to quality affordable housing for low income families. Board members, who serve five-year terms, are responsible for setting the policy or overall direction of Mobile Housing Authority. The Board appoints the Chief Executive Officer, who serves as Secretary of the Board and is charged with the day-to-day administration of the programs of the agency.
