Building Stronger Communities Through Collaboration

October 7, 2025

The Mobile Housing Authority, in partnership with the Prichard Housing Authority, hosted a successful Program Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting at Goodwill Easter Seals on October 01, 2025. The event brought together 25 attendees representing various community organizations dedicated to supporting families through education, employment, and self-sufficiency initiatives.

PCC members shared information about the services their organizations provide and discussed ways to meet the needs of Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) participants. A highlight of the meeting was hearing from the MHA Resident Commissioner, who shared her inspiring journey from FSS participant to homeowner.

This collaborative meeting strengthened partnerships between agencies and identified new opportunities to connect residents with valuable community resources.
