Renaissance Corridor Back to School Bash Brings Community Together

On Saturday, August 2, the Mobile Housing Authority hosted its annual Back to School Bash at the Orange Grove Rental Office, serving residents from Orange Grove, The Renaissance, and Renaissance Garden communities. The celebration welcomed 260 residents, including children and families, for a day filled with school supply giveaways, games, music, and refreshments.

Community partners, such as the Mobile Public Library and the Mobile Fire Department, provided engaging activities, including library card sign-ups and a fire truck experience for the children.

Special thanks to the City of Mobile and Representative Adline Clarke for their generous support of school supplies, as well as to our Board of Commissioners, staff, property managers, maintenance teams, and volunteers whose hard work made the event possible.

The day was a great success—celebrating our families, strengthening community connections, and preparing our students for a successful school year.
